#4 Friends, Respect and all of that...

Yep, this one is another 'lets look at life' posts:

Right. I believe friendship is built on trust. I believe trust must have a simple basis of respect and therefore i believe you must respect your true friends.

Now I ask myself two questions, 1. Why? and 2. What is Respect?
1. Why? - Well, i find that relationships really can't work if you can't believe what that person talks about, that's the trust thing. If you can't trust the person - why the hell should they trust/believe you? And trust must be based on respect. Why? - because to trust someone you must regard that person in some sort of positive light, this i derive as respect. To become really good friends, you must respect them more, hold them in a higher regard.

2. What is Respect? - Well i kind of dealt with this in my previous point. But il look at it in more detail. I find i don't respect anyone for just 'being' someone has to make me respect them by doing something. But anyway, i think to respect someone is to see that person as someone who is good at something, see their good side and possibly be in some kind of awe at what they do or say.. i don't know how well im communicating this point, i hope you get the general gist.
