#2 Personality, People and all of that...
Ok this is No.2 kinda ties in with No.1 if you think about it:
Right, so i said everything is bound to happen. 'But' i hear you cry, 'people are different and make different descisions because of who they are'. Well what you mean by this, is their personality, so I will explain.
I believe that a human being's personality is dictated by thier experiences in thte first few years of their life, when they are older is gets harder to change but its still possible so i guess its not just limited to then, but i guess you understand.
Why do I think this? Because i've thought about it, and so far, i've found nothing that disproves it, and i see it everyday. I find myself thinking 'and why does she think that?' then i think, ah yes... thats why.
A point i think my challenge this is about genes. But i've thought about that too and i've got an answer for it :). Basically, genes are a loads of balls, but, the way your mum & dad were brought up, have had an effect on them and now they are bringing you up like that because of it. E.g: Say, your dad is an angry person. You have been exposed to the anger for most of your time as a kid, it is an experience and so now you, may be an angry person. I find myself being a perfect example for this. I see my dad about once or twice a year, when i see him now, i find that i am nothing like him in terms of personality, im much more like the people i live with, my mother and my grandma (not that im interested in men mind you, hush chris).
QED
-This view is subject to change though at the moment i believe it quite fiercely, if someone proves beyond resonable doubt that i am wrong though, then i will post my new view :)

wel!!
iv alredy voiced my opinion but apparently i hav 2 rite it on here 2
ppl hav no personality wen theyr lil?!?! wat bout genes!! yes i no u sed the last paragraph but u failed 2 realise that they exsist in the 1st place! there4 alredy hav a personality n genes cant b changed. uv found nothin 2 disprove it cos ur not lookin hard enuf! also if e.g. "ur dads an angry person" if ur angry 2 it cud follow in ur genes n it wont effect every1, (i can c wats cumin bak at that bit but o well)the enviroment ur in dus affect u but it cant change ur genes, its stored temporarily in your brain, so if you moved then you'd change, like accents. umm i prob 4got stuff n il post it wen i memba!
wel hello, i cant actually be bothered to read al of it as its tons and i just ent goin2. neway im tlkin crap now but hello and goodbye leah xxxxxx
ah! charlie, what a suprise. :P
eh, you fail to ask yoursef one thing - what are genes? if you're talking DNA then you're wrong, if you're saying its stored in your brain already, i say why? i say there's nothing stored in your brain when you cry, only the primal instincts in the primal part of your brain. thats why babies cry.
The angry thing? Not everyone is effected, precisely, surely, if it was genes, you would be effected.
:D sorry, im not going to swerve from my view when you haven't shown me that genes are anything more than a very popular figment of everyone's imaginations.
how confusing is that.
Well i don't know about you leah but charlie seems to have grasped the issue.
Look, people:
Man is the sum of his memories and nothing more.
However, just because your Dad is a violent man doesn't lead to violence. But the memory of your Dad's violence will do something to you.
So remember: Genes don't dictate personality, memories do.
thank you chris, thats a different angle on what im saying, if memories are experiences you remember. which they are. :D someone agrees.
Remember what Sam said:
If a clever person said it, it must be true. You now owe me your argument.
Be Seeing You
Oh, and one last thing. Genes do exist. It's been scientifically proven that they exist. However they just dictate what you look like (and possibly hereditary diseases). Anyway, that should be it, unless someone wants to make another stupid comment. Any takers? Dan?
lol i explained thats not really what i meant, i mean they have no bearing on how personality develops.
